Gelocast is impregnanted with zinc oxide and calamine to soothe irritated skin. The non-raveling gauze is uniformly coated so that it is easy to handle and mold to the limb, providing a semi-rigid cast that is ideal for immobilisation of strains and sprains. Gelocast provides a high working pressure and lower resting pressure.

Gelostretch zinc-oxide gel bandage originates from the Unna’s boot and applies very low resting pressure and very high working pressure. Gelostretch can be worn comfortably, safely and effectively during rest and activity.

Contraindications
Advanced arterial disease, uncontrolled congestive heart failure, untreated septic phlebitis, phlegmasia coerulea dolens.
