The 1 ml applicator should suffice for a surface area of 15 x 15 cm and the 3 ml applicator for a surface area of 25 x 25 cm.
Cutimed PROTECT applicator: The film may, if required, be removed using the usual medical plaster removers/adhesive removers in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Clean and dry the affected area of skin before re-applying Cutimed PROTECT.
Cutimed PROTECT spray: The film may, if required, be removed using most adhesive removers in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Clean and dry the affected area of skin before re-applying Cutimed PROTECT
The ingredients used in Cutimed PROTECT spray and applicators have all undergone the necessary biological safety tests, therefore patients will not be at risk if any of the product accidentally enters the wound.
The product does not contain alcohol and may therefore even be used on cracked skin, without causing pain. If the product accidentally enters the wound, this would therefore not cause the patient any pain either.
The product is fitted with the foam applicator in order to ensure that the application is as precise as possible on the wound edge. Open wounds should be carefully covered when using the spray.
